Those of you who went to FCD know
what this is all about. After their fake post-Breakfast exit,
Duncan eventually came back. Now, I guess in prior shows Duncan
had been the one to haul the boom box up to the drum riser. But
not anymore. Now it's time for the stage crew to get in on the
act. Duncan watches with approval.
Once the overly-large boom box arrives,
"Staying Alive" begins to blare! Duncan does a little
hip-swinging dance, climbs up on the drum riser, strikes a disco
pose (arm extended skyward, index finger pointed), and gets down
to business, drumming his heart out to the music, a huge grin
on his face. Eventually the other Boys arrive and Love Liberty
Disco begins! It's a great act! Don't worry, there are more (and
better) photos of this insanity on the second night.
Peter tries on Phil's hair for size...and
misses a few lines because of it! (Spit, spit, ack, spit)
I like this photo. You can't see much
of Pete, but I love how it came out! Talk about yer lucky accident!
No, I wasn't ignoring Jody. It's just
that for some reason he was always blurry! But once again, there
are plenty more photos from the next day, too.
Sing it, Phil!
What did I say? Eternally happy, this
one!
Duncan getting wild and crazy as his
boom box shines on.
Phil's wacky one-legged dance. I love
this guy! He's so fun to watch. He's always up to something!

Yeah, Jeff enjoys his job, I think!
Another example of their awesome lighting.
Man, that was cool! I wanna go baaaaack!
After the show, I bugged Jay for a
set list. :) He gave me Phil's and gave Florence Jeff's. What
a great guy! Again, if you don't know who I'm going on about,
visit his Fan Club!
Well, that's it for Day One. Did you
have a good time? I did, but I was exhausted! I grabbed some
Newsboys merch and went to the hotel to sleep for a while. Then,
bright and early the next day, it was off
for Irvine! Please join us!
