Entertaining Angels

The only music video from "Step Up to the Microphone" was for Entertaining Angels. And don't ask what all the of the symbolism is about. Peter says he doesn't understand any of it either...

[The video begins with a shot of a desert road, but it looks a little strange...] [It looks strange because it's actually a backdrop hung in a desert road. I love how it lines up with the real scenery.]

The camera leaves the backdrop for a few seconds to show a man walking towards the road, then returns to the backdrop where the Newsboys have magically appeared, already in full rock-out mode.]

[Peter gives us a scary look as the instrumental intro continues.]
[Duncan wears glasses?] [A weird look from a weird Phil.]

[Jeff in his shaggy-haired days.] [One last scary look from Peter before the song begins.]

One to another, [Yes, it's a family of three sitting on a couch. Don't ask me!]

Do You remember me? [He seems to be about as confused as I am about this video.]

I feel so small.
Well are You listening tonight?

[They look a little board, actually.]
So temporary, The things that I have seen.

I ran so far. [I'm sure she's a wonderful woman in real life, but she looks kind of grumpy here.]

Will You take me back again?

[I want to know where they found that cow hat. Weeeeird.]

Entertaining angels
By the light of my t.v. screen.
24/7, You wait for me.

[A blurry shot of Jody. It's not my screen cap equipment or my recording. The video has blurry sections of the frame on purpose. Very artsy, I suppose.]

[Phil is the only happy-looking person in the entire video. No surprise there!]
Entertaining angels
By the time I fall to my knees.

Host of heaven, sing over me.

[Peter stares at the camera as we transition to verse two, found on the next page...]

More odd looks from Peter on page two.
