| Back
in the meeting, the twins look distressed. Hack wants to know
what we do when that happens. He cues them: "Send in the..."
Jody provides his answer. "Humane society?" |
Nooo. The answer is clowns! Here we see short guy Sack pretending to be a nurse as part of a very badly done clown skit. |

| Ralph and Rocco spot the short guy too. And they don't look happy. | Meanwhile,
in the skit, Hack is ill and is making good use of a nearby bucket.
Don't worry folks, it's all part of the show. |

| (Hmmm. Another person falls victim to a weird item inside a hotdog. What is going on with these hotdogs?!) | The
remainder of the horrible clown skit involves Sack chasing Hack
around with the now-full bucket, threatening to throw its contents
on Hack. Ewwwww. |

| Sack misses and hits the audience instead. Thankfully it's just confetti. Wow. Don't they look thrilled? | The
circus is still missing three essentials. "S" for spectacle,
a treat for the eyes. The twins and Duncan think each other qualify.
But they're also missing a word that begins with "G,"
as demonstrated when Hack produces a G sock puppet to which he
speaks only Spanish. |

![]() |
| Jeff is enthralled with the puppet show. | They're
also lacking M: Magic. And now Hack's board is complete. What
does it read? Well, the Boys and circus workers read it as "Meeeeee
gahhhhh cahhhhhh shhhhhh." Hack is upset. It's MEGACASH!
As in, tons of money. |
![]() |
![]() |
| As he reminds Jeff, "If you can't spell megacash, you can't smell success!" | But what about that
G? What does it stand for? Well, girls, gorillas, and Gideon's
Guide (Phil's guess) are all wrong. Speaking of Gideon's Guide,
Phil is excited to read the parable of the prodigal son, which
hits close to home seeing has how he's a circus runaway. But
G actually stands for grand finale, of which they have none. |

| But Phil has an
idea! "It's called the Human Mirror Ball. I've been working
on it every night now for months, just waiting for a chance to
try it on a live audience. Imagine this: a giant mirror ball
hoisted fifty feet into the air with a beating heart inside of
it!" |
The idea sounds great to Hack. Meanwhile, Sack tortures bugs as he has been doing throughout the entire movie. |

| The night of the
circus, Phil is ready for The Human Mirror Ball! |
He grabs onto the mouthpiece... |
![]() |
![]() |
| ...and up he goes! | Now why didn't they
do this during the Air Dome tour? |
![]() |
![]() |
| Mongo and the other
stagehand (whose only line was "Freebird" when John
asked for requests at the chapel) can't let go of the rope no
matter what! Phil is counting on them. |
Rocco and Ralph arrive to talk with the circus crew for a bit. They're not happy. "This is a temporary injunction to shut you down!" |
![]() |
![]() |
| Ralph needs a smoke and Rocco gets out his cigarette lighter. | Which scares Mongo.
He refuses to let go of the rope, as you can see, but without
the other stagehand helping, Mongo's one hand isn't up to the
task. |

| And Phil comes crashing down on Sack. | And now for an interview
segment. Steve: "Well, it comes with the territory and it's
always something, isn't it? Whether it's interference from managers,
publicity types, whoever. You just learn to hang tough. There
was even some marketing guru at the label who was saying, 'Hey,
couldn't you just work their last video in there somewhere in
the film? You know, just to make it longer?' And I'm saying,
'Hey, I'll work in aliens from outer space. Just show me how
it fits in the story.' And he says, 'Well maybe it could be a
dream sequence.' And I'm saying, 'Yeah. I'll just have the band
all click their boots together and say there's no place like
home.' I mean, come on..." |

| "My integrity as a director is not for sale." | And look what's next: their latest video. If you'd like to check it out, go here. |
Is Sack a pancake now? Did Phil survive? Did the circus cancel out the debt? The last page holds all answers. Well, as many as the movie supplies, anyway. Onward to page five!
