John wasn't quite as spastic back in this era as he was in, say, the TMTYL era. But he still was in constant motion. It's fun to watch his arms. They're never just hanging at his sides. They're always out, up, doing something!
Corey reminds me so much of Jeff in that first picture up there. It's kinda funny. You know, there's something weird going on here. This keyboard player looks similar to their current keyboard player. Their recent substitute guitarist, FauxJo (Randy Williams), looks kinda like Jody. Could it be that the Newsboys have a particular "look" in mind for each band member? No? Well, it's a fun theory anyway. But it doesn't hold up very well. How do you explain Duncan on keys? Or Phil? Anyway, where was I? Oh yes. Check out the very classy duct tape on the keyboard. Why is it there, you ask. Well, so that Cory can play a standard keyboard and still rock out.
