Boys Will Be Boys -- The Video Adventure

Now we get into the really freaky stuff. Their music video. Hold on to your hats, folks... Especially if they're lime-green visors!

Peter Furler: dancer extraordinaire. Gotta love the bright red jacket with the lime green hat. Ooooh...

And here he is rapping. I'm so glad they gave that up long before I became a fan.
The Newsboys were really into flashing the "peace" sign back then...

Cartwheels, pushups, wax-on/wax-off dancing, and skipping. Yup, it must have been quite the show. I think it's funny to imagine them all practicing their oh-so coordinated dances before the show.

AAHH!!! John is stripping! NOOO! Not really. But it does kinda look that way. Here are some nice clear shots of him. He sure changed!

Now this is the part that really scares me! There are no words to describe this, so I'll let the pictures do the talking. John, Cory, and Peter all sit in each other's laps, roll over, and then...

AH! It's a caterpillar with the head of John James and the rear of Peter Furler!!! Any biologists out there wanna name this odd organism?

Then they all disembark, one at a time, by doing a somersault. Why Peter, the last guy in line, has to do this, I don't know. But it makes for an odd screen cap. This may be the only time we'll ever see Peter doing anything like this. Well, there's always hope, anyway. So after the odd caterpillar, Peter wanders off for yet another trick...

Peter lies on his back, knees up. Cory lies his stomach on Peter's shins, and away they roll, all the way across the stage! At the end, Cory launches himself off of Peter. It's just so bizarre. Given the choice, I'll keep the Newsboys not-so-choreographed modern-day antics any day!

One more shot of Peter rapping, just in case you weren't traumatized enough yet...

With several more peace signs, the 'Boys finally bring this song to an end. Which begs the question: why did it ever begin?!?!

Still hungry for more? You enjoy this kind of torture? Well then, on we go to a tour of "The Fridge"...
