What was your first job or an odd/unusual job you've had?
First full-time: Hairdresser; but as a kid I would collect bottles, sell toys, have my own little garage sales. I was the capitalist kid.

What was your first big break?
My collar bone, I fell off my motorcycle during the Steven Curtis Chapman tour. Seriously, when the boys phoned me in New Zealand and then the next day I was on an airplane to Nashville.

What special skills or talents do you have other than your music (i.e. balancing spoon on your nose, painting, basket weaving)?
Eating lots.

What awards have you won (i.e. little league trophy, debate team winner)?
I don't think I've ever won anything, although I was voted least likely to succeed in high school. Does that count?

Who is the person that has influenced you the most? Why?
Heather, my wife!!

What are your hobbies (i.e. hiking, bowling, gardening)?
Motorcycle riding, surfing, skating.

What is your favorite vacationing spot? Why?
When I travel all year, home is the best--either Nashville or Auckland (New Zealand).

What is your favorite food?
Lamb chops and cheetos, not mixed, of course!!

What kind of pets do you have? What are their names?
No pets, I hate cats!!

What is something people don't know about you (i.e. habits, something quirky)?
Most people don't realize I'm a very shy, deeply introverted, quiet guy! Ha!

What is the best, most meaningful advice you've received or would give?
Listen and learn, allow God to refine you!

What would you be doing if you weren't in music?
Join the circus and eat cotton candy all day. Either that or write short stories.

What is your favorite thing about performing?
I love the fact music can make others see, feel, or understand as we do when we sing.

Tell about when you first began playing guitar and how old you were.
I was 6 years old when I was listening to my parents' stereo and heard Cliff Richard. I thought, "Hey, I could do this singing stuff!" So I did from then on.
